Phew, another super late comic. Sorry about that!
I’ve been having some wrist pain lately, so drawing has been taking forever. I took a break from drawing for most of the week, hoping that it’d go away on its own… no such luck! All that accomplished was having to do most of this week’s comic at the last minute…which just made it feel worse, hah.

Pick up a wrist brace! I had to do the same thing and it really, really does help. There are also some exercises you can do to help your wrists, you could probably look them up via google^^
Thanks! I did try some exercises that seemed to help a bit! I bought a wrist brace a while back, but it’s actually really uncomfortable… Maybe I should try a different one.

ouch, I don’t think that’d be a good idea! I’m trying to avoid drawing as much as possible at this point. :(
I think that is a good idea, we don’t want our precious comicist — yes it’s a word, no don’t look it up — to hurt herself, especially on our behalf.
I mean, to not draw very much if possible! Drawing more = more pain! And unfortunately pingo1387, pain increases exponentially. :( First you have 5 pain points, then you draw for 10 minutes and you have 25, then 125, then 625. D:

Hi, so far it is August twentieth. Hope Doctor Cat returns soon!
There are a variety of wrist braces you can buy… I should know, I’ve tried just about all of them. The best kind are the ones that have a hard piece of metal that lies against your palm (Futuro makes a good one), but it’s impossible to use a mouse with one of those on, so for your mousing hand you’ll probably need a soft one that just offers some support and not immobility. Then, at night, you can use a more heavy duty one that will keep your wrist immobile as you sleep. They’re uncomfortable at first, but you do get used to them… and it’s better than the alternative, imo. You don’t want to have to pay a visit to Doctor Cat!
